A short list so the room stays a room people want to return to.
Consent
Ask. Hear the answer. “Maybe later” is not a yes. If you are teaching on a social, make sure the other person wants a lesson.
Listings
Post nights that are actually happening. Don’t copy someone else’s social and change the name. Include an address a newcomer can find at night. If a price changes, update the listing.
The review queue
Hosts may decline duplicates, events outside the area, or posts that are too thin to be useful. A decline is about the listing, not about whether you are welcome at the dance.
If something goes wrong
Use the contact page. If you feel unsafe at an event, leave and tell a host if you can. This site cannot police a room in real time; the people in it still can.
