Who we are

Bachata Eugene is a community calendar for dance events in Eugene, Oregon. If you have privacy questions, use the contact page.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your name, email, and a hashed password. When you submit an event we store the details you typed and attach them to your account. When you send a contact note we store the message so a host can reply.

We also store a session cookie so you stay signed in. We do not sell this information. We do not run advertising networks on this site.

How it is used

Account data lets you submit and manage events. Public event pages show the organizer’s name, not their email. Hosts can see emails in the review tools so they can ask about a listing.

How long we keep it

Accounts and events stay until you ask us to delete them, or until the project is shut down. You can write via the contact page to request deletion of your account and listings.

Cookies

We use a session cookie required to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party marketing cookies.

Where it lives

Accounts and events are stored in Supabase (Auth and Postgres). Access is limited to the application and its hosts through row-level policies. We do not sell this information.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
